Allow me to begin by saying: This restaurant is nothing short of spectacular. First off, the Sopes de Carne Asada were out of this world. They make the masa fresh and cook it on the Comal. The salsa verde has great flavor with a kick of spiciness. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. The waitress had such an amazing spirit, and was very attentive. If I weren't from out of town, this would become a regular spot to eat at. Thank you La Estrella!

10/10 def recommend this restaurant. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is excellent, I have eaten here 10+ times and never left an unsatisfied customer. Wonderful treat to find this place while traveling through! I hadn't eaten all day and was starving, and I was pleased to see they stay open until 10 PM. Everything on the menu sounded great, and I couldn't make up my mind, but Eileen was so helpfuland nice in asking what I liked and directing me toward the Fiesta Fajitas, with a personal tweek. Nailed it!

What a find! Superb dishes, nice portions and very tasty. Quick and delightful service. Their Raspberry Cheesecake desert was out of this world. Bright and airy atmosphere and laid out nicely so one doesn't feel a bit crowded. Almost forgot....fresh handmade tortillas. YUM!

This place is as close to moms cooking as I can get in ulysses. Delicious food served fresh with a smile. The owners are amazing people and assure the best service is given. Felt welcome from the start. Definately recomendó the Mexican hamburger or the fajitas.
